The class treasurer for the SHS Class of 1953 became one of the most outspoken members of the Board of Finance. Phil Pomposi, a one-term member of the Town Council in the early 1980s, has found his niche on the finance board in the last two decades, at the same time irritating some public officials and earning applause from taxpayers. A Southington native, he is currently the board's vice chairman. Our next Alumni Quiz debuts tomorrow!
