Okay, it's all over the Internet anyway.

For those of you who watch ABC's "The Bachelor," you may be interested to note a local connection. Turns out SHS Class of 1994 grad and pro baseball player Carl Pavano once dated Gia Allemand, one of the three finalists on the reality show. The New York Daily News reports that while they were together, they were involved in that infamous car accident in which Pavano (playing for the Yankees at the time) was injured and failed to report two broken ribs to the team for more than a week.
-
This isn't the first time Pavano's name has been in the social pages. He dated actress Alyssa Milano in 2004.
-
Pavano, who pursued his career in pro baseball right out of high school, led the 1994 Blue Knights to their first baseball championship in decades. He played for the Red Sox, the Montreal Expos and the Florida Marlins before joining the Yankees in 2005. His tenure less than stellar, he was let go in 2008. The 34-year-old went a combined 14-12 for the Minnesota Twins and the Cleveland Indians last year.
