I Know The Face!
The Answer Is...
-
We mentioned in our hint two weeks ago that his career came to an abrupt end in the early 1990s. And it did. Phil D'Agostino retired as Southington's police chief in April 1991 and was arrested less than two years later for allegedly assigning on-duty officers to run personal errands for him. He was a veteran member of the police force before succeeding Joe Sollack as chief in 1983. A town native, he graduated from Lewis High in 1947 and, at 79, still lives in Southington.
