The Alumni Quiz
-
Serving as class treasurer for the Southington High School Class of 1953 served this notable alumnus well. He's been in the public eye for more than 25 years and, whether confronting members of the Town Council or putting his foot down on the board with which he is most associated, he has no doubt quite often recalled the quote that accompanied his yearbook photo: "All the world's a stage." Who is he? Take a guess by clicking on Comments below. We'll reveal the answer in two weeks.

Actually Phil Pomposi was a real character during his youth. His imitation of Jerry Lewis won him the top prize at a Hartford comedy contest Phil is now intense but adamant about "credit-card" spending. He's a token Southingtonite. Let's hope he sticks around for a while longer.
The quote is quite prophetic considering how melodramatic he can be at some meetings...but I am still a fan of his. He speaks his mind and does his elected job well. But I cannot, in a million years, picture him doing a Jerry Lewis impression!!
I wish more people would visit and comment on this site. I check in on Southington.com once in a while and every whacko in town comes out of the woodwork for that site but this site, as great as it is, doesn't get the same attention.
