ALUMNI PHOTO ALBUM
We open the Alumni Photo Album for the first time with this shot taken in early 1972 at the groundbreaking for the new high school. It would be more than two years before the building would welcome students and its first graduating class, the Class of 1975. From left are Assistant Superintendent of Schools John Pyne, Architect Richard Quinn, Building Committee member John Daley, Board of Education member Philip Liguori, Joseph Meaney of Anderson Fairoaks Co. (project contractor) and Building Commitee chairman Francis Kane.

Wouldn't Pyne be superintendent not long after?

Yep. John Pyne would be named schools chief the following year when superintendent of schools Joseph Robitaille resigned. Pyne retired in 1987 and died in the summer of 1997.
