Bob Carbone--a old school community leader who bucked old fashioned politicos for the sake of ordinary Southington people. Now he enjoys his days at the Sons of Italy where he has been a member for five decades.
Funny, I thought Bob Carbone then I thought it looked like someone else but now can't remember who. I think you're right - Bob Carbone. And your comments are right. We don't see his likes much anymore. Cared little for politics and fought for what was right. Who's left from that breed - Art Secondo? Can't think of anyone else really...
What a great man, the best of his family of politicans. Always kind, always generous... they don't make them like this any more. Long life and good health to you, sir!
